Dear Consumer,

 

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), our firm is conducting a voluntary recall of the DaVinci brand cribs, (models named above) that were manufactured from May 2012 through December 2012. One of the four metal brackets that connect to the mattress support can break, causing a gap and an uneven sleeping surface for the baby. CPSC and the firm have received 15 reports of detachments but no resulting injuries. However, we are conducting this safety recall since serious injury could occur to a child who falls through the gap or in the worst case scenario asphyxiation from entrapment.

 

If you purchased one or more of these cribs, we ask that if you have not already done so, you immediately STOP USING THE CRIB(s) and contact us. Please note that only the following purchase orders are included in this recall:
