CHANGERS & DRESSERS
In 2023, CPSC passed a new regulation requiring all dressers, chests, armoires and chifforobes
to be tested to stricter standards for stability and to reduce risk of tip-overs.
This new standard applies to all dressers manufactured on 9/1/23 and onward. While dressers
manufactured prior to this date have not been tested to the new standard, they are still safe and,
as always, we recommend installing the included anti-tip kit to ensure added stability. We are
proud to have always exceeded voluntary and mandatory regulations with our own internal
testing standards
The chart below the FAQs shows our current approach in testing all dressers and storage units, and how our testing measures against the new regulation.
