In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), DaVinci is conducting a second voluntary recall on our Bailey Bassinets sold on various ecommerce websites and on www.DaVinciBaby.com between August 2018 and September 2019. Our records indicate that you purchased one of these items.

Please stop use of the Bailey Bassinet immediately. DaVinci is conducting this voluntary recall in an abundance of caution after receiving several reports of the bassinet’s mattress support becoming disengaged, which can pose a fall hazard to babies. No injuries have been reported.

(IMPORTANT: Please note that you should have received a prior recall notice earlier this year. This recall is for a separate issue than the prior recall. ALL CONSUMERS WITH AFFECTED BASSINETS should follow the step below to repair the bassinet.)

We at DaVinci are truly disappointed that this product did not meet our high-quality standards and we are committed to making it right. We are offering a free repair kit to all customers.

While you are waiting for your free repair kit, we urge you to remove the current support legs and use the bassinet on a safe space on the floor or to find an alternate, safe sleeping environment for the child, such as a crib that meets current safety standards.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), our firm is conducting a voluntary recall of the DaVinci brand wooden bassinet Bailey (model number #M0934) that was manufactured from June 2018 through July 2019. This recall includes all serial number lots for the entire lifespan of the item.

The legs of the bassinet may split or break at the screw attachment point when moving the bassinet across the floor with significant force or pressure. CPSC and the firm have received 19 reports of the legs breaking but no resulting injuries. However, we are conducting this safety recall since serious injury could occur to a child if a fall results from the break while the child is in the bassinet.

If you purchased this bassinet, we ask that if you have not already done so, you immediately STOP USING THE BASSINET AS IS and contact us directly for a free of charge repair kit that includes a stronger base support to make bassinet safer.
